Boston Street Children’s Everything Store – Seattle
February 22, 2010

When you visit Seattle you will inevitably end up at Pike Place Market–home of the first Starbucks location, a bustling farmer’s market, and the famous Pike Place Fish Market where the fishmongers throw the fish. Parents and those in search of great baby gifts should head uphill to side street Post Alley where Boston Street Children’s Everything Store is located. Owner Cathy Aller has been in business for two decades and says that 80 percent of her stock is from local manufacturers and independent artists. The merchandise is hip and unique and irresistible. There is no website (even the receipt was ’70s old school) and I couldn’t find the dress I bought online, so this is a fantastic spot for chic items you won’t see anywhere else.
