If you’ve lived in Dallas in the last decade, you probably know Amy Chenevert, who has been the life of every party I’ve been to for years.  A true Southern girl from Louisiana, she spent her college career tailgating at LSU football games, and after she moved back to New Orleans from Dallas post Hurricane Katrina, she found her self once again tailgating every weekend at LSU and Saints games.  In the spirit of the South’s football fanaticism, Amy and her best friend wanted something cool to wear to the games that would also allow them to support their favorite team (without wearing something that literally says “Go Tigers!”).  So they created Tru Colors Apparel, a line of cute tops and dresses offered in popular teams’ color combinations, and in fabrics that work well for day-long tailgating escapades.    Check out their website for the team colors available and the lengthy list of retailers carrying their apparel.
